CICS System Admin required with 10 years of CICS Programming, CICS TS, TCPIT and MQ Serie Exp

Our client is based in Saudi Arabia –Riyadh, financial investment firm that serves millions customers. 

They employ tens of thousands of individuals and manage trillions of dollars in assets. 

This financial services company is an industry leader in banking industry. 

Our client is known for being a great place to work, and they are looking for a CICS Systems Programmer to join their team.

Responsibilities:

· Establish the WLM policies according to the above, (if applicable)

· Monitor CICS resource utilization

· Integrate CICS & MQ utilization and growth into capacity planning

· Perform regular checks on activity via monitors &/or product interfaces

· Identify conditions that adversely affect performance

· Analyse those situations that are regularly contributing to poor performance

· Suggest solutions/improvements for poorly performing components

· Identify & analyze problems

· Document problems & their resolution

· Liaise with vendors where necessary

. Take recovery / corrective actions when necessary

· Exploit appropriate debugging mechanisms – traces, dumps, etc.

· Peruse logs periodically to identify potential or developing problems

· Ensure that the DR procedures are current & relevant

· Implement & maintain the infrastructure necessary to facilitate DR

· Provide technical assistance to applications and operations

· Develop procedures and training for the operations personnel

· Research and inform applications of developments that can enhance online performance of programs improve productivity

Requirements:

· 10 years’ experience

· CICS TS, TCPIT and MQ Serie
